June is a great month to visit San Diego, where you can take full advantage of the stunning beaches, which are the city’s most prominent attractions.

Here are some of the best beaches in San Diego.

La Jolla Cove Beach

La Jolla Cove is a small cove with a beach that is surrounded by cliffs in La Jolla, San Diego, California. Point La Jolla forms the south side of the cove. The area is protected as part of a marine reserve and is popular with snorkelers, swimmers and scuba divers.

Coronado Beach

Coronado is the popular favorite among San Diego beaches: soft sand, water sports, and the stunning Hotel del Coronado as backdrop.

Pacific Beach

Pacific Beach is a favorite spot for college students and young adults enjoying the party atmosphere, frequenting the area’s restaurants and bars—some just steps from the sand. It is also popular with sunbathers and surfers.
“P.B.”, as it is known as by local residents comes alive at night, too, with the glow of bonfires and the electricity of the region’s many clubs.

Ocean Beach City Beach

Situated nearby to Drum Circle Beach, and close to Ocean Beach Hotel.
Ocean Beach City Beach is great for surfing, fishing, swimming and sunbathing. It’s a popular location for locals and tourists.

South Mission Beach

South Mission Beach is located at the southern end of the Golden Strand which runs from Pacific Beach Point to the Mission Bay channel. The beaches are famed for swimming, surfing and other outdoor activities.

San Diego and all that the area offers is incredible, they host plenty of festivals, has awesome parks, and endless gastronomic options.

International Fringe Festival

All theatre and performance lovers should check out the 9th annual San Diego International Fringe Festival. As the largest performing arts event in San Diego, it will feature over 500 live productions from local, national, and international artists. The festival is unique because participating artists have the freedom to showcase their works without censorship.

Heineken 0.0 Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series San Diego
