August is San Diego’s hottest month of the year, but it’s still quite pleasant with temperatures in the mid to high 70s.
Also tourist season is at its peak!

Del Mar Racing Season

WHERE: Del Mar Thoroughbred Club

San San Diego horse racing takes place where the “turf meets the surf” at the Del Mar Racetrack. Fans flock to the track each summer to wager on their favorite horses during the popular, annual Del Mar Racetrack racing season, mid-July – early-September.

National Night Out

WHERE: Veterans Park, Imperial Beach

National Night Out is held on the first Tuesday of August annually and was
developed to bring back a true sense of community. It provides a great
opportunity to bring local agencies and neighbors together to enjoy one

Tiki Oasis – Trip to the Tropics
